ABOUT US

Colleen

(as written by Michael)

Colleen was born at a very young age. She is an angelic singer, a skilled artisan, and a merciless warrior. She is a spunky and zestful figure: be it napping on the couch, napping in the car, or even napping on the floor, she has an unparalleled lust for life. She frolics, she romps, she oscillates, and she leaps: often at the same time. When problems arise, she solves them using a wide array of adhesives and velcro. She attacks the dance floor with a reckless abandon that puts herself and others around her at risk of bodily harm. She has no need to eat, though she feasts on the tears of the opponents she dominates at trivia. She prefers her puns intended.

Michael

(as written by Colleen)

Michael lunges through life – with much stomping. He can swing a longsword, parry an epee, steal a puck; if it’s got a long reach and could result in injury, he’s a fan. A voice of inspiration, he’s been quoted as saying “with enough will and determination, any pizza is a personal pizza.” He has proven to have a lot of will and determination. He is a master at crafting jokes with a side of sentiment, from adopting the tradition of Wolfenoot to sending large personalized portraits of himself to his family… and a 10 year old nemesis. He can guarantee that he will spend more time, effort and money on a joke than most would think is wise. He is a nerf ambushing, west coast swing dancing, Star Wars loving, marathon running anomaly. In short, he’s a pretty big deal.

“It’s so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.”

Blankets and cushions will be provided

Additionally, the venue is 8,304 feet above sea level, so please keep in mind:

  • Drink more water or juice than usual: hydration is key to preventing elevation sickness. Drink enough to urinate every two hours.
  • Alcohol and caffeine have a more potent effect on the body. You may be much more sensitive to the effects of alcohol at a higher altitude, please be very careful.
  • Decrease salt intake as salt causes your body to retain fluids, increasing the severity of altitude illness.
  • Eating frequent small meals high in carbs, low in fat and protein also helps prevent elevation sickness.
  • Maintain moderate physical activity and get plenty of rest. Oxygen (available over the counter at most local stores) and medications can help you feel better. Diamox is a prescription drug that prevents unpleasant symptoms for many people. Recent experience suggests that a small dose of Diamox will suffice (125 mg).
